Getting "away from it all" is a big reason I enjoy the trips. I have a hard time hearing the "whisper of God" and need to work on that in my daily life. However, I find it much easier in the woods.
Born Wild has really brought me closer to God through the wilderness. I appreciate that.

I have found that God ALWAYS seems to have something special in store for those who take the risk to go on these adventures.  Getting away from the everyday distractions was imperative for me so God could speak about how I could help to make His Kingdom become a reality to this world.  These Born Wild adventures have taken me on spiritual and emotional journeys that I have never gotten anywhere else because of the physical exertion, the beauty I was surrounded in, and the extraordinary men that God led to these trips.  There are really no words to describe what really must just be experienced.
