Chris has always enjoyed the outdoors and wild areas. Raised on a small Tennessee farm, the woods were his classroom. He has spent his life exploring the rivers, valleys, and mountaintops of the Appalachians, Sierras, and beyond.

Chris moved to Huntsville, Alabama seventeen years ago and began working in the aerospace/defense industry. In the middle of a successful career in the corporate world, everything changed. Chris followed God’s call to lead men into the wild places of creation and the wild places of their hearts.

He now spends his time teaching nature field trips for Huntsville City Schools, leading multi-day wilderness adventures, and speaking about the abundant life offered through Jesus Christ. Chris enjoys a wonderful life with his wife Jann and their children Ryann and Mattie.
