Born Wild Women’s St. Patrick’s Day Hike
March 17, 2012
Come celebrate the season springing forth with the Born Wild Women! This is the time of year when the woods begin to wake reminding us of how God makes all things new! It’s time to visit McKay Hollow, on the less popular side of Monte Sano State Park. We are going to follow the moderate Natural Well Trail for a 5-mile out-and-back hike. At the head spring of Big Cove Creek, we will pass the remains of a landslide from a couple years ago. Next up are the bluffs hidden just under the neighborhoods of Monte Sano. Finally, we will reach Natural Well - a 190-foot deep ‘pit’ then Blue Spring Falls. Come celebrate the new!
See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. ~Isaiah 65:17
